The food was great including the Balsamic rice and the Shawarma fingers. Our waitress…Soso…she didn’t even tell us her name…didn’t ask how we wanted our lamb chops cooked and other than that it was a good experience as far as the food.
One of our better (if not best) Middle Eastern food experiances since leaving the ME. Service was polite and quick. Food was well seasoned, fresh, and plentiful. Great selection of dishes. We will return, and soon. Looking forward to the Lamb chops and the other specialties! Bravo!
Delicious Mediterranean food in the back of a grocery store. Located about 15 minutes drive from the airport, this was my first stop after landing in Mobile. It is in a strip mall and you'll only see the grocery store when you arrive. The restaurant is in the back. It was late when I arrived, so kind of quiet, and they were preparing for the 9pm close. The taboole salad was one of the best I've had. Fresh and crisp parsley, hand cut, with the right mix of tomatoes and onions, lemon and oil dressing. The chicken sandwich was equally delicious and arrived with a giant portion of fries. Enough to satisfy any appetite. Service was friendly and efficient. Plentiful parking in front. Also, the grocery store was well stocked, organized, and clean. This is a true gem.
Order ANYTHING and you'll enjoy it. Overloaded by the menu? Just order the dinner for two. You and your date will leave fat and happy with a little box of leftovers
The food is really good and above all, the portions are huge! We only saw this amount of food in one order in Texas and that’s saying something. They do a mix of Arab cuisine and their shawarmas are pretty good. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Mobiles hidden gem. You have to walk through the grocery part to get to the restaurant in the back, which has ample seating, relatively quiet. The staff is friendly. We called in a to go order this time, and it was ready in 20 minutes. The rice, veggies, chicken, and lamb shank were amazing. Portions are huge so you have leftovers or split with someone! The garlic sauce they give on the side is amazing.
On our way home from the LSU game , my daughter found a little Mediterranean gem worth stopping for. Yes, there was a short wait—but every bite made it worth it. We kicked things off with falafel, creamy hummus, and perfectly spiced batata harra. Each appetizer was bursting with flavor, and the warm pita kept coming—exactly what we needed after a long trip. For mains, the chicken shawarma stole the show—tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious with their garlicky sauce. The beef kabobs had a unique seasoning that wasn’t my personal favorite, and the texture leaned a bit tough, but if you enjoy bold flavors, they might be right up your alley. Before leaving, we couldn’t resist browsing their market section and snagged some Dubai chocolate—a sweet little bonus treat to end the meal. If you’re a Mediterranean food lover, this spot is definitely worth the stop.
